The stable 5-piece maple and walnut neck is bolted on to the ash body that's home to two specially-developed humbucker pickups by DiMarzio. These Fusion Edge pickups deliver double-coil sounds when the 5-way pickup switch is in positions one, three and five. When it's in position two, you get humbucker sounds from the inner coils only and in position four, you get a parallel version of the sound from the neck pickup only. Needless to say, this gives you plenty of tonal variety which makes it easy to get the sound you want.
